Christine Le Monde, ACE-Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist (AHFS) Welcome! If you are at my website, chances are you are seeking a fitness solution. Perhaps you want to lose a few pounds, or more. You might have some health issues that you have been told should be addressed with a fitness program. Maybe you are already fit, but want to take it to the limit. Before you begin my program, I want you to know one thing: You are beautiful. Life is hard sometimes and we deal with it the best we know how. What is done is done, but we can change our futures. I am here to give you the knowledge on how to embrace your potential so that you can overcome the difficulty you do have control over, and thrive. My program can help you overcome the thinking that is holding you back from being the person you know you really are. Lack of motivation, impulse and stress eating, eating to dull emotional or physical pain, fear of eating, alcohol overuse…I understand. You can master destructive and self-sabotaging behaviors at any age and start fresh, beginning now. You already have the power. Start slow, if you must, but just do a little every day. Soon, you can be rocking my cleanest eating plan and finishing every rep of the toughest exercises I can throw at you. New sparkle will come from your eyes, your skin will glow and you will emanate positive energy, discipline and confidence you never dreamed possible. The empowerment you find when you take control of your health and tackle physical challenges will spill into every area of your life. For those of you that are here to get support for an advanced fitness program, I want to push you, too! It is my goal to make this a welcoming and informative community for everyone. Hang out with me and believe in yourself. We’ve got this! Love, Christine.
About Christine: Originally from Wisconsin, California has been her home since 1984. Her desire to travel was the driver behind her choice to become a flight attendant, at age 22. She served passengers in between touring international destinations for 8 years, the last 4 of which she was Inflight Manager for a luxury, all-first-class airline catering to celebrities, sports teams and rock bands, most notably Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, U2 and The Lakers Dream Team. She went on to pursue a degree in Animal Science and still holds a current license as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She also has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Marketing. She worked in the field of veterinary medicine for 12 years, specializing in clinical pathology, oncology and therapeutic nutrition before transitioning to a position in Business Development for a consumer finance product to help veterinarians provide advanced health care for pets. She spent a year in Zürich, Switzerland with an opportunity to consult on the launch of a similar product for human cosmetic dentistry and Lasik eye surgery there. Another career crossroads opened a door to an interest dear to her: art. She enjoyed success as an art dealer of large installations until the 2008 economic crisis called that choice of livelihood into question as viable. Upon analysis, her next move was clear: fitness – a lifelong pursuit and passion could actually be her profession. She became certified (while continuing to deal art, as well as Blackjack at a Las Vegas casino) and briefly managed the personal training department of a fitness chain before launching a private, fully-mobile practice in Marina Del Rey, Venice and Santa Monica. She is a huge fan of bodyweight training and has a gym of portable equipment suitable for almost any client’s goals. She loves outdoor cross-training and on any given day her own workouts might include rebound boots, a hula hoop, TRX, running in the sand, wrestling with a sandbag or pushing a car. In order to step up her game and demonstrate the power of the mind to her clients, many of whom are models and actors, she decided to embark on the rigorous diet and training necessary to compete in the Bikini Division of Bodybuilding Contests, where she is consistently a top finisher and achieved 1st Place in the 45+ Masters Class at the NPC Tournament of Champions in Los Angeles, September 2011. Christine enjoys the motivation and reward of competing and loves the discipline it has helped her introduce into her life. She has learned a routine of invigorating challenge that not only supports a lean, muscular physique and is motivated to maintain and continually improve. She earned a Master certification as an Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist, requiring a high level of knowledge in prevention and treatment of diseases as complications of diet and exercise habits (hypertension, metabolic syndrome, diabetes and heart disease), orthopedic injury and surgery rehabilitation, pre and postnatal women, elderly persons and children. Her many years in a medical field make understanding and rehabilitating people with illness, injury and special needs (she was an overweight kid) second nature. Christine insists upon being on the cutting edge of the latest discoveries and developments of fitness and lifestyle nutrition and is one of the first to learn the latest workouts, so she can keep her clients’ sessions exciting and challenging. Most recently, she was discovered by renowned fitness photographer Rob Sims at a bodybuilding competition and is modeling exclusively with Rob Sims Photography, featured as one of the fittest 50 year-old models in the world. This new opportunity has ignited her passion to inspire men and women, 35 and over, that a fit lifestyle is for any age, and that you don’t have to just get older – you can also get better. Christine enjoys viewing and studying art, architecture and history, all kinds of travel from adventure tourism to cultural destinations, a fine meal and the company of friends. She likes to read books in Spanish and has a thing for shoes and bikinis. She is a big fan of sunrises and sunsets, preferably while bicycling or rocking a hula hoop at the Pacific Ocean’s edge. She occasionally doubles for Ellen Degeneres and has worked as her stand-in on “ellen” for 3 seasons. She loves to laugh. |
